Matchday Staff Recruitment – Join the Shrewsbury Town Team

Shrewsbury Town FC is recruiting matchday staff to work at The Croud Meadow during the 2026/27 season. The club has multiple vacancies across matchday operations, including stewarding, hospitality, security, turnstiles and car park roles. All applicants must have the right to work in the UK.

Available Roles and Pay

Stewards and hospitality stewards are both paid £12.71 per hour for approximately four hours per fixture. Stewards monitor crowd activity, assist supporters and respond to incidents to ensure safety and security. They must hold an NVQ Level 2 in Spectator Safety or be willing to undertake the required training. Hospitality stewards help create a safe environment in hospitality areas, checking tickets and guiding guests.

SIA staff are paid £16.02 per hour for approximately four hours per fixture and must hold a valid SIA Licence. This role involves selective searches at turnstiles, enforcing ground regulations and assisting with refusals and ejections where required.

Gate staff (turnstiles) are paid £12.71 per hour for approximately two hours and 15 minutes per fixture. They ensure turnstiles operate smoothly, assist supporters with ticket scanning and manage entry into the stadium.

Car park staff are paid £12.71 per hour for approximately 5–8 hours per fixture. They manage vehicle flow around the stadium, check permits and process cash and card payments across parking zones.
