Official event listings
Start with Shropshire Council and the city's visitor or events pages — they list public meetings, seasonal festivals and community activities with dates and venues.
More community and charity events
Local Facebook groups, parish councils and community centres often promote fundraisers, fêtes and sports fixtures before they appear anywhere else. Our Shrewsbury news section covers civic, cultural and charity events as dates are confirmed.

Genuine local events can be submitted for free editorial consideration. Send the exact date, venue, useful details and a photograph through our story form. Organisations seeking guaranteed or enhanced promotion can separately view our clearly labelled advertising options.
