Shrewsbury Town Foundation is launching an appeal for local businesses to donate unused mobile phones and tablets to support community programmes across Shropshire.
Through a partnership with Recycle Rehome, unwanted devices are securely processed and converted into funding for the Foundation's work. Each eligible device raises the equivalent of a £50 donation.
How the scheme works
The Foundation has set a target of collecting ten devices from local businesses. There is no cost to participating organisations. All data is securely erased from donated devices, and free collection can be arranged.
The funding supports a range of Foundation activities, including walking and disability football sessions, Holiday Clubs, and other programmes designed to improve health and wellbeing, develop new skills, and help people achieve their goals.
