Shrewsbury Town Foundation has launched a new website designed and built by Shrewsbury-based digital technology group Shoothill. The site is now live at foundationstfc.co.uk and allows families, schools and partners to explore the Foundation's community work and find ways to get involved.
The website launch extends Shoothill's existing partnership with Shrewsbury Town Football Club. Shoothill already provides the club's managed IT services, built Salop1 (the club's integrated digital platform), and developed its website. Bringing the Foundation onto a Shoothill-built platform connects the charity's digital presence with the wider club.
Foundation's Reach and Impact
Shrewsbury Town Foundation reaches more than 5,000 people and delivers over 12,000 hours of activity each year, generating an estimated £5.4 million in social value. The new website brings that work together in one place, from football sessions to mentoring within higher education and employability, and health and wellbeing hubs.
How the Website Works
Shoothill rebuilt the site from the ground up with reliability as the starting point. The new platform is stable, fast and requires minimal technical support from the Foundation's team, allowing news, programmes and events to stay current independently.
The design prioritises the Foundation's work with clear, interactive menus guiding visitors to the right section. Whether searching for a Holiday Club, booking a pitch at the Croud Meadow, or planning a birthday party, each section is laid out simply and works well on mobile devices. The site makes it easy to get in touch or donate.
What Foundation and Shoothill Said
Shin Aujla, Director at Shrewsbury Town Foundation, said: "Our website is often the first contact people have with the Foundation, so it has to work every time. The old site let us down too often. The new one is reliable, looks fantastic and makes it far easier for families and partners to find what they need. Shoothill already knows the club inside out, so they understood what we do from day one and built something that reflects it."
Simon Jeavons, Group CEO at Shoothill, said: "We're proud to work alongside Shrewsbury Town, so supporting the Foundation was a privilege. Its work across Shropshire is an asset to the community and the website should make all they do easy to find and engage with. As a Shrewsbury company celebrating 20 years, it's a pleasure to back a local charity with such a strong community impact."
